Over 12,300 participants from more than 130 countries joined us for our 60th Annual Meeting. Thank you all for making it such an amazing event, both in Madrid and online!

New EASD Board members elected

Profs Jean-François Gautier and Robert Wagner have been voted to serve as new EASD Board members with a term of office from 01 January 2025 until 31 December 2028.

We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Prof Gautier and Prof Wagner and to renew our thanks to all who have actively contributed to this important process.

The European Foundation for the Study of Diabetes (EFSD) was created by EASD to provide funding in all areas of diabetes research across the entire European Region. The aims of EFSD are to encourage and support groundbreaking diabetes research and to promote the next generation of leading diabetes researchers.
